Quickstart

Murphy answers your customers from your own content. Getting it live takes about five minutes.

1. Create an agent

Sign up, and a workspace and a first agent are created for you. The agent is the thing that talks to customers. Most companies only ever need one.

2. Give it something to read

Open Training and point Murphy at your site. It crawls the pages you list, splits them into sections, and embeds them so answers can cite where they came from. You can also paste raw text, upload files, or write question and answer pairs directly.

Nothing is answered from general knowledge. If the content is not in your sources, Murphy says it does not know and offers a handoff instead of guessing.

3. Install the widget

Open Install and copy the snippet. It goes anywhere before the closing </body> tag, on every page you want the launcher to appear.

<script>
  window.echoFoxSettings = {
    api_base: 'https://askmurphy.io',
    app_id: 'YOUR_WORKSPACE_ID',
    bot_id: 1,
  };
</script>

The second script tag in the dashboard loads widget.js asynchronously, so it never blocks your page. Both values are filled in for you, do not copy them from here.

The install page checks for itself whether the script is live. Load your site once and it flips to installed, so you are not guessing about whether the tag fired.

4. Watch the first conversations

Everything lands in Inbox. You will see what customers asked, what Murphy answered, and which sources it used. Anything it could not answer is flagged, so your gaps show up as a list rather than as complaints.
